An engineering management talk with a remote bend, I'll cover lessons that I've learned while remotely managing the predominantly non-remote (in office) Storyblocks engineering team for the past seven years as we've grown from three to forty team members. Managing a growing organization is a challenge by itself, but doing so from afar brings in additional difficulties. All sessions at West Slope Startup Week 2020 will be recorded. By joining the session, you agree to be part of the recording.
