Jamie Brandess
Jamie Brandess joined Boulder SBDC in November 2014 as Marketing and Events Manager and has since been promoted to Marketing and Events Director. She handles the management and logistics of all workshops and events in Boulder and Longmont (80+ workshops annually) as well as manages all marketing initiatives. Additionally, she manages programs and events for the statewide TechSource program. Prior to joining the SBDC, she spent the majority of her career at United Way of Larimer County managing events and developing programs as Volunteer Engagement Manager. Jamie served as the project lead on Northern Colorado’s nationally-recognized volunteer event, Make A Difference Day, engaging 3,000 volunteers in 100 projects over the span of a week each year. She also implemented a youth philanthropy program in Northern Colorado for middle school and high school students. Jamie holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Political Economy from Colorado College with minors in Spanish and Anthropology. She serves on the Board of Directors for Boulder County Community Action Programs and the Board of Reviewers for the World Food Prize Foundation.
