I'm a start-up market farm business with an emphasis on heirloom vegetables and melons. For the last 3 years, I was the "middle man" & sold fruit out of Palisade alongside of vegetables I acquired from local growers. Due to the hard freeze that decimated most of the stone fruit crops in the valley this year I am growing my own melons and vegetables. I tweaked the traditional CSA model a bit and I am offering weekly boxes of fresh produce as well as selling at a couple of farmer's markets. I am interested in learning more about how other growers in the area are taking their businesses online as well as any tips on how to become a successful market farm business. This is my first season and I am totally winging it....
